There will be minor changes to two of our services from Monday 6th December:
Service 40 journeys from Seaford will travel to Poynings Close (off Fairways Road) on request from Tuesday 7th December.
Service 126 will revert to the High Street in Alfriston and no longer operate via North Road, The Broadway and Deans Road from Monday 6th December. As a result there are minor changes to timings, see the revised timetable.
Until the roadworks are completed (possibly January 2022) there may be minor delays to all of our services passing through the Polegate junction and Cophall roundabout.
There were changes to some of our services this autumn:
Service 25 no longer serves Firle Village (stopping only at Firle Gates), Selmeston Road (Eastbourne) and the District General Hospital grounds (stopping instead on Kings Drive outside the Hospital).
Service 26 no longer serves the District General Hospital grounds (stopping instead on Kings Drive outside the Hospital).
Service 38 has been withdrawn.
Services 47 and 49 have ceased for the winter.
The situation at Drusillas roundabout has improved considerably with virtually no delays currently, as there is a 'roundabout' of sorts now functionning. Our services 126, 25 and 26 have resumed their normal operation to and from Berwick Station, although running via Common Lane (estimated until January 2022) will mean they may run a few minutes later than timetabled.
Services 40 and 44 operate via Common Lane to the A27 and then their normal routes.
The lay-bys just in Alfriston Road are suspended and we will stop at Drusillas entrance or opposite it as a temporary measure.
The bus stops at Exceat Cuckmere Inn are suspended due to long term roadworks so our 40 and 47 services are unable to stop there until further notice.
The length of Station Road from Drusillas roundabout to the Common Lane junction is closed to allow for the complete rebuilding of Drusillas roundabout in connection with the A27 works. Our services are diverted via Common Lane during this long term closure and depart Berwick station up to 5 minutes earlier than shown in the timetables.

Updated government guidance means that from Tuesday 30th November 2021 passengers on buses and other public transport must wear facemasks unless exempt. If you don't have your own face covering we can provide you with one on the bus for a charitable donation. Further information can be found on the BBC website.
We have taken steps to protect drivers and passengers including enhanced cleaning. Please assist our drivers in making conditions as safe as possible for everyone.
We hope passengers will understand the difficult circumstances we continue to face.
Whilst we will still accept cash payments, we urge passengers to use contactless payment wherever possible and to note that change will NOT be given.
